DESCRIPTION:
French, suspended pendule, the movement contained within the suspended globe, surrounded by an ebonized mantle case, the entire clock a reproduction.
CONDITION:
someone had an original to copy the brass castings and case profile from. Quality of the case is fair to good, as is to be expected from a re-cast. The suspension unit is adjustable for F/S, and is also copied from the original. Vernier Vernier at mid-section allows easy beat-set. Fussy, but seems to run ok once you get the beat set. An original would bring 10,000. The consignor bought this from a little old lady in Manhattan as an original Ht 25"
